Molly, age 5: Mom, does Jesus love everyone?
Me: Yes, honey.
M: Even people that smoke, or what about people that kill other people?
Me: Well, honey, Jesus loves everyone, even if they do something wrong. It makes him sad, and he doesn't want them to do that, but he still loves them.
M (perplexed): Really? Even if someone shoots somebody else and even if they smoke?
Me: Yes.
M: Well, what about if they dye their hair?
Apparently 5 year olds have a different understanding of "bad"--
#3--smoking
#2--murder
#1--dye your hair

OH CRAP! I guess I should start up smoking. . . doesn't matter now. . .
What if you're a dyed, smoking murderer --- then you're REALLY in for it. Kids. They're funny.
Yesterday I asked my DD if she wanted to get her ears pierced, and she said, no, she would rather get her hair dyed a rainbow color. oh boy.
So cute.
Yeah, I'm going to hell for sure. Shanna

Say "hi" to her an Maddy for me! I miss seeing them in Primary:(
I love this...they really do say the most amazing things.
That's hysterical! Don't kids really help you put it all in perspective?
