The leader of the pack. . .vroom. . .vroom. . .

So, I'm fresh from vacation. . .many blogs to come, but I had to post this one first (technically, it's the second one since blogger ate my first one, so just a note of advice, always save as a draft THEN publish. . .grr.) Anywho, one of the highlights from the last two weeks was the blogger dinner. I was so excited you guys could come, and on such late notice. We had Oh judy, ~j., me, luckyredhen, pottymouth, the jet set, compulsive writer, oh judy's sister ("tina the sistah, who promised to start blogging if she could come. . .just a reminder!!), melody's garden and tiffany twisted.
It was funny that we introduced ourselves by our names and then our blog names just so we could go. . OH! I love you! When Shannon walked in I said to Lisa, "Oh, it's lucky red hen!" So, she sauntered over with her pink leather jacket and a sweet helmet and we just had to know. . .she rode her orange harley!! Oh, do show, do show! So after we all had a great time talking and laughing and eating too much (I'm still dreaming about those avacado eggrolls!) we headed out to the parking lot and waited with anticipation as she suited up, then came revving by! CW even got to go for a ride!! Here she is doing her best impression of Marie Osmond at Chick-fil-A!!

GREAT photo of the "Sshhhhh...". What a fun night. Thanks for ditching the family reunion to meet with us.

Glad you made it home safe and sound (I still have Molly's colorwonder. . .opps!) When you get a craving for all the food we stuffed into ourselves, just remember that you can get a cheese Runza whenever you feel like it. WHENEVER. . . How was the ride home?

I remembered the color wonder after we were headed to Tooele. . .oh well. And the ride home? well, let's just start that by saying that 1 hour into the ride Molly and Whitney were both puking. Love family vacations.

Hey, I KNOW that Marie Osmond story...in fact, I have told it many times..........

Ha!! I always picture the screaming masses of people who would mob her if they KNEW she was at a Chick Filet.....

Then again, I served with Justin Osmond (he looks JUST LIKE DONNY) and the ladies in England really did get crazy when they met him..they were huge over there...but still........

Donny went to my husband's ward for a while. Phil said it was amazing how the attendance numbers would go up when Donny was there. (yuck!)

It was fun to meet you the other night. I'm so glad you posted the "Shhh" pics! I've been wanting to see them.

Dear anonymous,

It's not so much that you have to hear the Marie Osmond Chick-Fil-a story. You must actually see it! The story's not so good without the visual effects. You must have oh judy! show it to you one day.

Great pics--and it was a pleasure meeting you wendysue!

You guys, seriously, it's no big deal. . . it only HAPPENED TO ME AND CHANGED MY LIFE! I guess, if pressured, I will perform it. Anytime. . . anyplace.

Do you do it for birthday parties and bar mitzvahs?

p.s. I wish I'd gotten to say more than two words to you Wendysue!

I am just jealous because the bike is orange. My first bike was orange, but not as beautiful and stable as the hen's. I'm totally in lust, but I think her whole life is amazing and lovely and charmed. (and I'm so glad I wasn't ostracized from the "cool" table when I was forced into bringing my kids to the fun dinner!!)
