I have a new file in my "Pictures" folder. . . .entitled "Whitney. . .trouble"

If you're lookin' for trouble. .

Well, you've come to the right place. . .

If you're lookin' for trouble. . .

Look right here in my face. . .

(and those are just the things I have evidence pictures of--let's not forget-- cat food, permanent markers on a new jacuzzi tub, a toothbrush with grout sealer on it, pencil, marker, crayon marks on every door and wall, and many other things I've repressed)

And I don't feel one bit guilty.

That's hilarious... and I'm with you... no guilt baby. We have a pressure mounted gate just inside of Kalea's bedroom door... it's how we keep sanity. ;-)

Oh man. Good stuff. She's going to be so happy with you when she's older and finds out you posted those pics of her with no clothes on!

I've got a good Eva story for tomorrow. These girls are wild!

She and Olive could take over the world. I just did a slideshow of her and the song that accompanied her photos was : ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN (from the drowsy chaperone)

Oh you are having a week! The only thing that ever got me through weeks like that was a good friend laughing at my horror stories and reminding me, "This too shall pass."

Good luck!

The only thing that helps her is that she's sure a cute kiddo.

And maybe I should pay attention to her when I ask her if we should have another baby and she shakes her head no.

Oh, and nothing has worked to get the dry erase marker out of the chair covers. . .any ideas??

I've tried
Zout cleaner
Oxyclean
Isopropyl alcohol
dry erase marker board cleaner spray
screaming and getting stressed

Ha,ha,ha...I am glad I am not the only one with a daughter like that!

My neighbor told me that her daughter used to be like that (she is in college now), and she has grown into a sweet, wonderful grown woman. Every once in a while I go over and ask her, "...and your daughter turned out okay, right??"

I actually called a dry-erase marker manufacturer once and asked them for advice on removing their product from something. So, maybe you can try looking up the company's phone number online and give them a call??

enter the mantra "kids cannot be replaced. Everything else in the house can." Perhaps the stars are aligned cause my youngest has been a lil stinker of late also...but not quite as destructive. Good thing he can't read your blog or he'd surely borrow some ideas.

Is there a reason the crib bumper is on the outside of the crib?? Doesn't that defeat the purpose?

wendysue said...

Yep, there's a reason. . .I like it, but if it's on the inside she steps on it. So, now, it's just for decoration.

We were house sitting and Mckenzie drew all over one of their nice jetted bath tubs with a black pen. Nothing worked until I used the bleached toilet bowl cleaner. You can't even tell.

Good Luck!

Ummmm, Wendy, we are on our THIRD crib tent (first Cubby chews a hole in it and the reaches over and unzips..when we can't sew the hole any more, he slowly and methodically pulls the zipper from the binding..... he is killing me.

It is the only way I know he is safe and that the rest of the house is safe.... I am SO with you ont his one
