Don't pass out, but we actually have one room of our huge remodeling project upstairs DONE!! And I have the pictures to prove it!! I've also added some "before"'s of what it used to look like up there!
This is a "before" of the attic space and dormer off to the front of the house.

A "before" look back toward the doorway, toward where the linen closet and "commode" would go.

A look at the framed doorway and door to the new shower.
A view toward the shower
The fabulous "spa" shower (double shower heads, body jets, etc.)
Another view of the shower. . .this time, the seat!
And the best part this time of year. . .take a look at my tree!!
And now for the inspiration for the bathroom (at least the sinks), I made Matt look at this and keep it up there so he could duplicate it, and he did so AWESOME!! (Our scanner is off in some closet so a picture of a picture is the best I could do, but you get the idea!)

I still need to add the little details, but I love this sink area!

So, as for the rest of the upstairs, our awesome painter Graham has saved the day (I'm so OVER painting, after 3 years!) He's just touching up trim and filling nail holes, etc, this week so more pictures will be coming!!

LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! I can't wait for mine to be finished! I don't think we'll be adding cable--if I want to watch tv while I'm in the bathroom, I'll come over to your house! ha ha
It looks amazing! You guys! I know the amount of work you're showing us and it looks really great.
Matt is so right about the cable; he's so cool.
It looks amazing, Wendy!! We looked at a house when we moved here that had an unfinished attic that would have been such a cool master suite. Unfortunately, it had way too many other unfinished projects and so we passed on it.
Wow! You're awesome! We're thinking about building a wall (which we have never done), and are completely overwhelmed. And can't imagine doing all that you've done.
You did such a wonderful job!!! I love the clean look and all the white in the bathroom. Fabulous!
Wow- it looks great! I think the sink area is my favorite...hmmm or the spa shower. Not sure!
Wendy it is devine. I LOVE it. I love the color of the walls, I love the beadboard and I LOVE the tub (and YES you need a TV....). That is awesome. I know how stinky it is to live with construction and I am so glad that part of it is done (and impressed that Matt could do it...).
Yippee.
It looks fabulous. ENJOY!
I love the beadboard! Very nice!!
Oh my goodness! I was just thinking about the addition, and wishing I could see the finished product. IT LOOKS FANTASTIC!! I am so proud of you and Matt. GREAT JOB!! I LOVE IT!!! Shanna
Amen! It looks amazing.....like it could be right out of a magazine.
I'm taking notes...we're in the sheetrocking stage.
It looks FABULOUS!! GREAT WORK!!
Wonderful! I love it!
WOW! It looks amazing! It makes me want to find a better way to motivate my hubby to get our basement finished. (sigh)
