Am I the only one that thinks Jason Mraz sings about Mormons in his song. . .I'm Yours??
"Listen to the music of the Mormon people, dance and sing. . .we're just one big family."
Check it for yourself at 1:23. .

It's just you...
double check that. Unfortunately, Mormons aren't known for their music...though how I wish I had Gladys Knight in my ward, maybe our choir would be something to wake up for!!! I used I'm Yours for the soundtrack to our 10th anniversary video...I'm a fan of another Jason.
I totally thought that was what he said too! But my hubby set me right (I hate it when that happens!)
I eventually did check the lyrics, since I KNEW that couldn't be right, but don't worry, when I sing along with the radio I still sing it with "mormon" in there. . .
p.s. Kage, I love Mraz too. . .my good friend and I caught him in concert here in town a few years ago, it was great!
What about the Jack Johnson song where he sings about "stab a Mormon in the back"?
Oh yeah, I remember that one. . .stabbed a mormon in the back with a round thumbtack. . .ouch. Jack, and I thought you were nice.
You almost had me there for a second...
So, as I'm hanging out here for a bit...your playlist starts playing India Arie-Heart of the Matter...I'm lovin' it!
