"THE shirt" is very addicting. . .all I could think is I NEED ONE OF THOSE! OR 7!! See the background story of "THE shirt" at my friend Cjane. I spread the love of the shirt to my sisters when I headed out to help out with my new nephew. My mom even was able to come! I LOVE this picture with my Mom making the crazy face. My Bro-in-law was just snapping away about 20 pictures (half with my eyes closed). I was so excited my mom could be there. . .she's serving as a Temple Missionary in Nauvoo, but the temple was closed to get ready for the crazy summer so she came for a few days. My sister Heidi lives in San Jose and my other sister Julie came down from Seattle. It was a crazy couple of days with all of us there (I stayed an extra week after everyone left). . .lots of organizing and game playing and Julie even treated all of us to manicures and pedicures. (Grandma stayed home with the babe, so we could all go).
Oh, and just as an afternote, and a whole different kind of love sharin' (since the finale was last night!):
You're killin' me. . .

Seriously, did you bawl your head off? Several times throughout the show I'd start and stop. Start and stop. My head hurt so much it was hard to finally get to sleep. Ugh!
Oh, and I kept saying outloud to myself "There's a window, there's a window, there's a window" but nobody ever looked through that little window. I was so nervous!
It looks like you had so much fun on your trip. That little guy is so cute!! Love the shirts and that pic of your mom is great! I have Grey's on my DVR waiting to be watched.... so I need to go home and watch it tonight so I can know what is going on!!! I won't let myself read your blog until I do it! :)
Did Matt tell you I called? Carl's grandpa and his wife are on cjane's blog w/ the SHIRT! What a freakin' small world.
Christy, small world indeed! I think I've even met him! Wow! Did you comment to Cjane about it??
Yep. Left a comment. We're cousins now. :)
Your Mom is beautiful. How fun to be in Nauvoo - I love that temple. There's something special about walking around in their knowing the sacrifices made for that temple.
And... I'm still ticked at Izzy. I loved Denny. Maybe it's just me - but I'm so sick of McDreamy and pathetic looking Ellen Pompeo.
I was really disappointed with Christina last night... I mean come on... Burke is awesome. And... I love Ms. Nazi DR - she is awesome.
I enjoyed the Chief interrogation sequence... well-written.
I went to WalMart today to buy some groceries. I usually don't go to the clothing section but I thought I'd check out the shirts. I can't pass up a good $3 shirt...I am the proud owner of two (white and pink).
Now we have more opportunities to dress alike...I know, just what you've always wanted!
Does anyone else just think about "Can't Buy Me Love" every time they see "McDreamy?"
I heart Denny.
I hate that my shows are over, such a letdown, but I'm prepared with my tube storage. Are YOU?
So nice to have you back, and sharing your experiences from what sounds like was a BLAST of a trip for you!
I've never watched the show, but, yes, Lisa, when I see the commercials & teasers, I do think 'Can't Buy Me Love'. I think that's why I can't watch the show. Is McDreamy the same person as Ronald Not Donald?
I heart Dr. Torres.
Queen--Izzy was weirding out just a little TOO much, I mean I love Denny too, but I think that was all for the tape they were sending in for the awards.
Yep Lisa, I do often think. . ."ooh, cards with the tards." But he can be my lawn-boy, that'd be alright.
Dr. Torres rocks and I will say it's nice to see that Meredith now has the choice. . ."Pick me, choose me, love ME."
Your Mom- Thanks Wendy Sue, for adding my crazy expression picture, No more family secrets.
