Amazing day. . .

Sent to the earth, you were saved through the ages for this day and time.
Child of great worth, child of promise, daughter of the Divine.

Pure and holy in a little white dress, you were held in a circle, and you were blessed.

And the Father looked down, and the angels surrounded that place.
They knew the truth, all that you could do, and you will too, if you have eyes to see what Heaven sees in you.

Dressed in white once more, making promises to follow in Gods way.

So much lies in store, for the little girl who enters at the gate.
Pure and holy in a little white dress, you were the led into the water and you were blessed.

And the Father looked down, and the angels surrounded that place.

They knew the truth, all that you could do, and you will too, if you have eyes to see what Heaven sees in you.

Awwww. I love the picture of you holding the baby and there is a little spot of drool on your shoulder. That is SUCH a mom picture....

Bek, yes, such a mom picture, and such a new mom (still maternity) dress--so my nursing boobs could fit!

There was another picture where we were all laughing so hard we were practically crying because Maddie kept "rooting" for the boob, all through the pictures.

I can't believe it's been 8 years!!

CONGRATS... how exciting and peaceful...

Where did you get the poem? Did you write it? I love it.

Queen, it's actually lyrics from the song "What Heaven sees in you", I think I first heard it on a YW CD when I was looking for music for a YW photo video I was putting together, we gathered photos of the girls at blessings and baptisms. . .and there is another verse that talks about being in the temple ("pure and holy in a long white dress"), and we used pictures of the YW leaders at the temple.

The song is a little cheesy, but it kept running through my head when I looked at her that night. . .

You'll be there before long!!

Those pictures remind me of OUR baptism and our cheesy hands-in-chins picture I love so much. Why is it that THAT day seems like yesterday, and we're almost 33?!

Madison is a doll. How darling is she?!

LVC--After I had put her hair up before we left, I got out my scrapbook to show her my picture of my baptism day, and what did I see? My hair in two ponytails just like hers! I should totally scan in that picture of us!!
