We interrupt this NYC blog post. . .

For a message from your meteorologist. . .
Holy cow, did you see any forecast pictures of what went through my state last night??

This is a picture of I-80 by Kearney, Nebraska. A little bit away but not far enough. I spent most of the evening trying to convince Madison that it was going to miss us, and it did, thank goodness.

Nebraska in the summer? good times.

Woah! I have a sick fascination with storms, but those are some seriously ominous clouds. Hang on to your hats this summer!

How can something so frightening be so beautiful at the same time. Our first storm in Lincoln we sat in front of our sliding glass door in our third floor apartment watching the skies. What dummies! That was the storm that almost completely destroyed Hallam, NE.

Amanda, we did the same thing! We stood outside our apartment and watched the sky swirl over our heads. Although, it wasn't that storm. I'm glad you guys are safe:)

We used that storm as an excuse to stay up and watch another episode of LOST on the computer. We also had the TV on so we could track the storm!
